Chocolate and Steel Giveaway

Christine of Chocolate and Steel is a fellow member of the Etsy Metal Clay Team. She has the most fun and romantic jewelry. This week she is giving away one of my favorite piece's in her shop (My Heart Belongs to Pendant listed below). To check out the rules for her pendant give away go to her blog Chocolate and Steel.

My Heart Belongs to Pendant

I love this pendant it is simple and romantic without being sappy. Thought the above pendant is one of my favorite's from Christine's shop, I also love her rings and her cute Apple pendant.

Delicious Apple Pendant

To me Christine's rings are unique and definitely encompass the entire feel of her shop; simple, bright, fun, feminine and romantic. I also like how delicate her rings appear as well, they are not thick and heavy looking like other metal clay rings I have seen. Below are two of my favorite rings from Christine's shop. I love the bright gemstone rings she creates. I would have never thought of putting bright yellow with silver!

Sneak Peek Sunday

I am still a Victorian button nut. However thanks to my Etsy Metal Clay group, I have bought some Press and Peel Blue Paper and hopefully will be experimenting with some etching techniques soon. But in the meantime here are some new pendants I have been working on. The pendants are still in there green forms and hopefully, I will have them completed by the end of the week.

Welcome New Members to the Etsy MetalClay Team

We have two new member to the Etsy MetalClay Team. Lori of Moda di Magno and Zoe of Artwear. Please check out their work below.
The hubby is on the mend. He can't wait to get his hard cast off next week. I am extremely behind in my work but I am working on several items. I will hopefully have two new items coming soon. I will have a bronze Geisha pendant and a scroll pendant. I am currently trying to figure out if I want to do a summer art festival this July. Three days in the local park surrounded with other artisans at a booth fee of $80 seems pretty reasonable. I have never done a show or fair before, so I will have to figure out tables, tents, and displays. Not sure what to do. I'll keep you posted.
